However, bear in mind that battery capacity isn’t the only factor influencing the radio’s runtime. 

The power consumption of the radio also plays a significant role. 

For example, a radio with a large, brightly lit LCD screen may drain power more quickly than a simpler model, even if both radios have the same battery capacity.

Another aspect to consider is the charging speed. Some radios might have large battery capacities but take a long time to recharge.
